Solutions for divorcing couples.

step 1 in divorce process

Initial Meeting

We start with an initial meeting where we focus on learning about your situation, answering any questions you have, and getting clear on the desired outcomes of each party. At this meeting we’ll give you a list of documents to provide to us and client data sheets to complete.

step 2 in divorce process

Planning Session

Individual sessions are scheduled with each party to discuss your interests and provide coaching on how to negotiate successfully. At this time you will provide your relevant documents via secure, online shared storage. Lastly, we will identify the reports we will prepare for each person.

step 3 in divorce process

Data Entry and Report Creation

Now it’s our turn. We will complete all of the data entry and analysis based on the information you provided in our initial meetings. Then we will prepare our reports ahead of a joint presentation meeting.

step 4 in divorce process

Presentation and Negotiation Meeting

We schedule a 2-hour presentation and negotiation session with you and your attorney or mediator to present our findings and offer one or more settlement options to consider. We continue our discussion until all aspects of your settlement are decided.

step 5 in divorce process

Document Preparation and Filing

Document preparation and filing by a Certified Legal Document Preparer. We will assist you in finding a competent and honest preparer. The document preparation and filing process is usually completed in 4 to 6 weeks. And you never see a judge or a courtroom.

step 5 in divorce process

New Normal Meetings

To complete our process we schedule new normal strategy sessions with each spouse to help each of you confidently execute your portion of the settlement and to make sure each individual household is confident and secure as they embark on the next chapter of their financial lives.

Are you interested in a New Normal Strategy Session but haven’t worked with us during your divorce? You can now learn more and schedule a stand alone New Normal Strategy Session by contacting us here.
